Our Most Commonly Asked Business Questions

on Mar 06 2025
This blog post is for the most common questions I get from our business customers/corporate orders.  I’ll be covering: Can I get a quote? How do I apply my tax exemption status to an order? Can I get logo and text engraving together? Do you send samples? Can I ship to multiple addresses?  Can I get a quote?  Absolutely!  Just contact us at support@dayspringpens.com with the item/items you would like a quote on, quantity, any additional engraving needs (logo, two lines, font selection, etc.), the shipping address if the standard free shipping is not desired, and of course an email address to send the quote.  We will make sure any quantity discounts are applied and send it along! If you decide to move forward with the order and no changes need to be made to the quote, you can simply pay through the link in the quote. I’m tax exempt. How do I apply that to an order? Once you have created an account with us (but before you place your order), contact us with your tax exemption certificate.  We keep it on file and will change the status of your account to Tax Exempt. When you place any orders with us in the future, you will not be charged taxes. Can I get a logo engraving with text as well?  Yes, you can.  Contact us with the text you would like engraved as well as the logo vector file, and we will create a proof of the engraving for your approval.  There is no additional charge for text engraving with a logo if the text is the same on all pens in the order.  If the text is dynamic and changes on each pen (ie: individual names or titles), there is an additional fee of $2.99 per pen.  Do you send samples?  No, we do not send samples. That being said! We do recommend two options if you would like to experience the pen before placing a large order.  Order the pen or pens you are interested in with no engraving. You can then return the pens to us after you have examined them in person for a full refund.  Order a single one of the pens with the engraving you would wish. This will give you a chance to experience the pen before buying a bulk order. Any logo engraving applied to the single pen would have the fee waived for any further orders.  Can I ship to multiple addresses? Yes, you can.  For orders under a quantity of 20, we commend placing the orders separately. For orders of 20 or more, the charge is $5.99 for USPS Ground Advantage or $9.99 for FedEx 2nd day per shipping address.  For any additional business questions I did not cover, feel free to contact us or leave a comment below, and I will add to the list! To reach Dayspring Pens for any order inquiries you can email support@dayspringpens.com or give a call at 888-694-7367.   Sam Di Nardo is an author for Dayspring Pens, where she has honed her expertise in ballpoint, rollerball, gel and fountain pens since joining the team in 2018. What is the Difference between Right vs Left Handed Pens?

on Feb 24 2025
The question for this week is “What is the difference between right and left handed pens?” The simplest answer is that there is no difference in the pen itself (there are of course exceptions that I will touch on below).  Almost all pens are designed to be written with either writing hand.  I see this question asked on our site so commonly because we offer the ability to engrave a pen for either a right or a left handed user.  This means that if you select the right-handed option for writing hand in the personalization process, your pen will arrive with the engraving facing towards you as you write with the pen in the right hand.  A left-handed selection flips the engraving to the opposite side of the pen so it faces the user when it is held in the left hand.  Does every pen have the option for right or left handed engraving?  Sadly, no. Different decorative features can prevent a right or left handed engraving.  For example: The Cross Classic Century metal finishes all feature a decorative ribbing along the barrel of the pen except for a smooth surface under the clip with a right hand orientation.  Or! The Fisher Original Astronaut Space Pen must be engraved left-handed as the button mechanism that allows the pen to retract is under the right side of the pen with the clip facing toward you.  Exceptions As I mentioned, there are exceptions to the “all pens are the same for right and left handed users” rule.  There are some pens like the Visio Left Handed Ballpoint that are shaped for lefties. And as I talk about in my article on the Best Left Handed Pens, some pens offer a much better writing experience for left-handed writers.   Sam Di Nardo is an author for Dayspring Pens, where she has honed her expertise in ballpoint, rollerball, gel and fountain pens since joining the team in 2018. The Logo Engraving Process

on Feb 17 2025
Logo engraving at Dayspring Pens offers the ability to put your company’s logo or brand design on any of our luxury pens.  Here is the step-by-step process once you have selected the pen you would like to engrave:  Select the Logo option under Engraving Type Select Right or Left Handed under Writing Type (standard is right handed unless you are ordering for left handed writers) Upload your logo file. Vector files will give the best results. These end in .svg, .eps, or .ai.  Select any additional order preferences such as Gift Note, Gift Wrapping, Rush Production, or Additional Refills. Add to Cart and Complete the Check Out Process. After the order has been placed, our art department will create a proof for your approval. The order will not go into production until approval is given on the final proof.  Proofs are free by request for corporate orders for the initial proof and 2 revisions.  How much does it cost for a logo engraving? Logo engravings are a one time fee of $25 per logo file. Once a logo is on file with Dayspring Pens, the $25 fee will be waived for any subsequent orders with the same logo. Can I get a logo engraving and engrave individual names or a text engraving? Certainly! If the engraving is the same text (ie: a logo followed by 25 Years of Service), there is no additional cost for the text.  If the engraving is a logo along with dynamic text (individual names or different titles on each pen), there is an additional fee of $2.99 per pen. Can I engrave the pen on both sides? Yes! This will come with an additional fee of $2.99 per pen.  Some pens do not allow for two sided engraving due to decorative embellishments on the barrel or pen mechanism. If you have any questions on whether a pen can be engraved on both sides, please do not hesitate to send a message.  Can multiple colors be engraved?   At this time, only single engraving colors are available.  The color of the engraving will be a subtle tone-on-tone light brass for any metal finished pens such as the Abingdon Chrome Ballpoint or the Cross Classic Century. For pens with a lacquered finish, the engraving will match the trim of the pen (ie: gold for a Parker IM Black Gold Rollerball or silver for the Cross Coventry Blue Ballpoint). Lacquered pens may allow for a different engraving color. Cost and more information available upon request.  Why do I need a Vector File? Vector files are image files that place every part of the graphic on a grid. This means that they can be resized without losing resolution.  Since we are resizing your logo in order to scale it onto the parameters of the pen, vector files are crucial to keeping your logo or graphic pristine through the engraving processes.  Any defects in the scaling will be engraved on the pen if the image file cannot adapt to resizing. Do you offer samples? We do not send samples as all Dayspring Pens collections are luxury items.  If you are interested in seeing a pen in person, you can purchase the pen with no engraving. After you have sampled the pen, you can return the pen for a refund.    Sam Di Nardo is an author for Dayspring Pens, where she has honed her expertise in ballpoint, rollerball, gel and fountain pens since joining the team in 2018. Does My Pen Come With a Gift Box?

on Jan 30 2025
This week I am kicking off a new series on the blog to answer the most frequently asked questions we get either about pens, about our products in particular, or the important questions that come up in the ordering process. Does the Pen Come with a Gift Box? I am happy to say that all the pens sold at Dayspring Pens, whether our in-house brand, or one of our partnering brands do come in a gift box.  EXPLORE THE DAYSPRING PENS COLLECTION These gift boxes are not an additional charge. They come with each item automatically. This box is created to protect the pen in transit from damage or scratches to the finish and to store all additional accessories that might come with the pen, while presenting the pen in a delightful way. (Who doesn’t love unboxing something?) What Comes In the Pen Gift Box? FIND YOUR PARKER PEN The box contains any warranty and instructional information relevant to the pen along with any ink refills, cartridges, or converters that might come with or have been purchased in addition to the pen.  These items are stored in the small compartment below the pen in most of the gift boxes. SEE THE CROSS COLLECTION Can the Gift Box Be Customized? No, the gift box is proprietary to each pen brand and is marked with the logo and brand name of the company.  EXPERIENCE WATERMAN PENS What to Expect From Your Gift Box?  Depending on the brand you might see some variations in the gift box by size and price point of the pen. An entry level pen might come in a gift box sleeve that has a box structure, while a sleeve covers the opening and slides off to reveal the pen.  ENJOY THE AMERICAN MADE FISHER SPACE PENS Higher end/luxury line pens tend to come in hooded or hinged boxes. A hooded box has a lid that slides over the pen and then a secondary sleeve secures the entire box.  A hinged box opens via a hinge mechanism to lift open the lid of the gift box. These will also have sleeves to secure the box in transit and protect it from any scuffing.  ENJOY A PILOT PEN TODAY Lastly, brands will occasionally have premium gift boxes for their top tier or limited edition lines. These can be in all shapes and sizes and become collector’s items in their own right.  That's it for gift boxes. If you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments below, and I'd be happy to answer.    Sam Di Nardo is an author for Dayspring Pens, where she has honed her expertise in ballpoint, rollerball, gel and fountain pens since joining the team in 2018. The Best Sellers of 2024

on Dec 23 2024
It’s the end of the year, and time for a bit of a review!  I am going to tell you the top three best selling pens at Dayspring Pens this year and give a little prediction of what I think will be a powerhouse up and comer in 2025. First up: Cross Calais Blue Ballpoint For anyone familiar with Dayspring Pens and the Jotted Line blog, this might not come as a surprise.  The Cross has long held the crown as the American pen company for a myriad of reasons from actually being an American pen company still headquartered in the US to being the official presidential pen of the Whitehouse. Why does the Cross Calais dominate year after year?  It is an incredibly accessible every person pen. It’s got a touch of the art deco, and it can easily be given to people with a wide range of different tastes.  I see this pen sell equally as a single item purchase and in bulk quantities for corporate gifting.  But why do people keep coming back to this pen?  “Good quality pen” (this popped up over and over again in multiple reviews) “A classic. Beautiful blue and chrome contrast a subtle engraving. It definitely makes a statement.” “Great size” “The color, style, and weight of the pen are very nice” “The engraving came out beautifully…” CHECK PRICE Features that keep people coming back to the Calais: Solid metal body with weight Lustrous finishes Twist-action ballpoint Custom engraving in a subtle, light brass tone-on-tone color Cross Coventry Blue Ballpoint The runner-up for most popular pen this year was another Cross pen, the Coventry Blue Ballpoint.  I have been waiting for the Coventry to have its day in the sun, and it has finally happened.  It looks like a professional pen with the defined cap lines and rich color finish, offering the same writing experience as the Calais with a slightly narrower barrel size.  While still being metal, the lacquer finish across the whole pen feels comfortable in hand. And when it comes to engraving, this pen receives a deep cut color fill, which means it has a prominent, visible engraving of chrome to match the trims.  Why did customers choose the Coventry? “The pen is comfortable to write with and looks great. The engraving was great.” “The engraving came out beautifully.” “A perfect gift.” “I love this pen. I have purchased one for several of my family and friends and they love them also.” CHECK PRICE What you get with best selling Cross Coventry: Balanced barrel in a deep lacquer finish Contrasting engraving that stands out on the pen Twist-action medium point black ink ballpoint All-metal construction Dayspring Pens Monroe Gold Pen and Pencil Set I am proud to say one of our very own Dayspring Pens made the list this year in the Monroe Gold Pen and Pencil Set.  It can be oddly difficult to find actually gold pens (they all seem to be brass), let alone a gold pen that is below the $100 price tag. The Monroe offers real 18k gold plating on both a ballpoint and a mechanical pencil.  The ergonomic grip and weight of the pen combat writing fatigue, and the click-action just makes things so easy.  Why did our customers buy the Monroe Gold Set? “Very professional looking pair” “Very nice gift pens, beautifully engraved at a very reasonable price.” “Great quality and engraving” “I was not disappointed and happy to give these as gifts to a very distinguished group of individuals.” CHECK PRICE What to look forward to in a Monroe Gold Set:  Real 18k gold  Fine point Schmidt ballpoint ink refill and 0.7mm lead pencil with an eraser Ergonomic rubber grip Matching tone-on-tone subtle gold engraving under the clip What to Watch for 2025 Now, I would just like to take a guess at what I think customers will be pouncing on in 2025. Fisher Space Pens is the newest addition to the Dayspring Pens collection, and I have seen the Fisher Bullet Space Pen take off in the few months they have been available.  Fisher Bullet Space Pen This collapsible pocket pen from Fisher Space Pens captured the American imagination when it premiered, even gaining its own episode of Seinfeld.  Able to write upside down, in wet environments, and in a wide range of temperatures, the Bullet Space Pen is insanely adaptable and usable.  Engraved in a brilliant brass on the matte black or a subtle tone-on-tone in the chrome, the custom Bullet allows the customer to choose the right fit for them as they use the pen or gift it as a gift.  And, let’s be honest it's super cool that Fisher makes the pens of astronauts.  It is a very giftable pen.  Features of the Bullet Space Pen:  Adaptable size with postable cap to lengthen the pen to a full size  Can write in a variety of circumstances with medium point black ink Custom engraved  An icon of minimalist design CHECK PRICE Find out more about the best sellers of Dayspring Pens in 2024 or carve your own path and choose the pen that delights you the most in this upcoming year.  For more articles about our brands, the practicals of pens, or which pens will make the best gifts, here are some of my other articles to help. Gel Pen vs Ballpoint Pen

The Jotted Line

What are the Differences Between a Gel Pen vs Ballpoint Pen?

on Dec 05 2024
What is a Gel Pen? A gel pen is a pen that contains a ball-and-socket mechanism whose ink is made from pigments that are suspended in a water-based gel. This type of ink produces vibrant colors or unique additives like neon, glitter, or sheen and allows for smooth, bold writing, a feature that makes them popular for artistic purposes. Gel Pen Ink vs Ballpoint Ink Even though gel pens work like how ballpoint pens work, the ink composition is critically different between gel ink and ballpoint ink. Composition of Gel Pen Ink and Ballpoint Pen Ink The ink used in gel pens is made of pigments carried in a water-based gel suspension, a mixture of finely distributed solid particles in a liquid. Pigments provide the vibrant, opaque colors associated with gel pens. Ballpoint pen ink, in contrast, mostly consists of dyes dissolved in oil-based solvents. Small caveat: some types of ballpoints use ink made of pigments, but they still use an oil-based carrier instead of gel. Characteristics of Gel Pen Ink and Ballpoint Pen Ink There are three main characteristic differences between gel ink and ballpoint ink: 1.) the viscosity of the ink 2.) how the ink binds to the paper and therefore how quickly it dries 3.) the color/additives it delivers. First off, the viscosity, or liquidity, of the ink. The ink in gel pens contains more liquid (less viscous). This creates a smoother writing experience as more ink moves more quickly through the pen tip, releasing a steady, rich line. Ballpoint pen ink is thicker (more viscous) than gel ink (think of lava flowing versus a river flowing). The ballpoint releases less ink, creating a thinner writing line and generally a duller color since less ink appears on the paper. Viscosity also affects how much pressure is needed to apply the ink. Ballpoint More viscosity = more pressure. Gel Pen Less viscosity = less pressure. Next, how the ink binds to the paper aka dry time. For gel pens: as you write, the ink dries by being absorbed into the fibers of the paper. This means the dry time of the ink is directly connected to how long it takes for the ink to soak into the paper. Dry times will vary depending on the additives in the ink (if the manufacturer wanted a fast drying gel pen that would soak quickly) and depending on the paper quality (the tightness of the fibers in the paper). Helpful Tip: Paper matters. It has a huge impact on writing experience and quality not just for fountain pen users. Find out more: What is the Best Fountain Pen Paper? Slower drying times increase the likelihood of smudging. While more liquid in the ink makes feathering and bleed through are a more common occurrence. Ballpoint pen ink binds to the writing surface instead of sinking into it. This means it dries rapidly and, as long as the pen can grip the material, the ball in the tip rolls and applies the ink so it can write on most surfaces. When ballpoint pen ink is applied on paper, the solvents evaporate or oxidize due to exposure to air. Lastly, the color/additives delivered by the ink. Gel ink is a better vehicle for pigments, glitters, metals, and opalescent because it suspends the particles in the liquid. When the liquid soaks into the paper, the solid additives are left on the top of the surface creating greater vibrancy and an opaque quality to the writing line. Ballpoint ink is limited by the size of the particle being added to the ink and the oil’s ability to carry it. If the particle is too large, the oil moves too slowly and clogs the mechanism. This is why ballpoints generally use dyes which dissolve into the ink over pigments that sit inside the ink. Therefore, the aesthetic quality of the ballpoint ink is limited. Luxury Gel Pen Highlight: The Parker Jotter The Parker Jotter has a long history as an exceptional EDC ballpoint pen. But its little talked about gel pen alternative is quite frankly exceptional. With all the same all metal construction for durability, addictive click ability, and iconic design, the Parker Jotter Gel Pen delivers a precision fine writing line in a vibrant, rich black ink that is a staff favorite at Dayspring Pens. Complete with custom engraving, it is an easy go to as a writer for your daily tasks or a thoughtful gift a person will be genuinely excited to use. CHECK PRICE What Are Gel Pens Best Used For? Gel pens are suitable for a variety of uses. Artistic Projects Due to gel pens ability to deliver a variety of colors/hues, gel pens are incredibly popular for artistic work. They also allow for greater control and smoother movement with their water-based ink. Gel ink can be layered to add depth and dimension. It also is generally water-proof compared to other water-based ink like fountain pen ink. Detail-oriented Work When doing detailed work like technical drawings, gel pens come in handy for their ability to create precise lines. The consistent ink flow also helps in maintaining neatness. With the wide variety of colors available, you can easily color code your drawings or notes to make it easy to interpret them at a glance. Expert Tip: Gel pens are fantastic for nurses to use to color code their charting notes. Document Signing Most gel pens are waterproof and archive quality. They also start writing without preparing the pen (like a fountain pen or rollerball that may need to be primed). This makes them ideal for signing documents. Pros and Cons of Gel Pens and Ballpoints Gel pens and ballpoint pens both have their strong points and weaknesses. Before you pick either, here is what you need to consider. Gel Pen Pros Gel pens produce vibrant colors perfect for decorative work. The lines are fine and precise. They give a smooth writing experience. Less writing pressure to decrease hand fatigue. Gel Pen Cons Gel pens tend to be more expensive than regular ballpoint pens. They may skip or clog if left unused for a while. May not work on some paper types. The slower drying time increases the chances of smudging. Ballpoint Pen Pros Quick-drying ink that experiences minimal smudging. Ballpoint pens are generally more affordable and widely available than gel pens. They work well with a wide variety of paper types. Produce a regular ink flow thus consistent lines. Ballpoint Pen Cons Ballpoint pen ink colors are less vibrant than gel pens. Ink flow may feel less smooth compared to gel pens. Limited variety of ink colors available. The table below compares some key features of ballpoint pens and gel pens: Feature Gel Pens Ballpoint Pens Ink type Pigment-based, water-based gel Dye-based, oil-based Drying time Slower and prone to smudging if not careful Quick-drying with minimal smudging Paper compatibility Best on smooth, thin, non-absorbent paper Works well on almost any paper type Writing experience Smooth, glide-like Pen has a bit of drag Ink durability Water-resistant, fade-resistant once dry Long-lasting, less prone to fading Best used for Artistic projects, journaling, detailed work Everyday writing, note-taking, general use Conclusion Although exceedingly similar in appearance, the gel pen and the ballpoint pen are worlds apart in regards to their writing experience. If you need a steady pen that can write on any surface with the drop of a hat, the ballpoint is the way to go. If you are looking for a smooth, easy writer for note taking, drawing, or design work, it is hard to beat the quality of the gel pen. Which is your favorite to use? Leave a comment below! Check out my Ultimate Guide to Pen Styles if you're not familiar with the different styles or you're not sure which one is best for you, and the list of our best sellers. The best sellers list is definitely a great reference for our customers' favorite pens. Conclusion If you're looking for personalized gifts for loved ones, look no further. J'Markis's Christmas Pen Pick

on Dec 02 2024
I am back again with another recommendation from our staff for their favorite Dayspring Pens item to give as a personalized gift this Holiday season.  Today, I interviewed one of our incredible engraving staff, J’Markis. We are lucky to have J’Markis and his attention to detail and care in our engraving room. If you order a pen from us, chances are J’Markis was integral in some part of the process whether it was engraving, polishing, checking, or packaging your order.  Let’s jump in with what J’Markis likes to give this Christmas.  What is your favorite Dayspring Pens item to give as a gift?  J’Markis: “Specifically for the Christmas season, I’m thinking a Red Alexandria” Sam: “What style would you give? Ballpoint, Fountain Pen, Rollerball?” J’Markis: “Rollerball definitely” CHECK PRICE What do you like about the pen?  J’Markis: “I really like how deep the lacquer is, and I do enjoy the feeling of the Alexandria Rollerball as it is writing.” Why would you give it and to whom?  J’Markis: “Maybe my grandma. She has a lot of writing utensils that are subpar, and I feel like she would enjoy the weight and the heftiness of the Alexandria” What is your favorite holiday tradition? J’Markis: “I’d say Christmas morning sitting around the stockings.” Try J’Markis’s Christmas Pen! The Dayspring Pens Alexandria again makes a highlight this Christmas season, this time in red. Enjoy J’Markis’s rollerball pick custom engraved as a new holiday favorite.  I would also like to say that Jamie and J'Markis BOTH picked the Alexandria Rollerball! Each Alexandria Red Rollerball will come with a complimentary line of custom engraving, black ink inside the pen, and a Dayspring Pens gift box.  I am also excited to say that we now offer gift wrapping for your pen. Joe's Holiday Pick

on Nov 25 2024
This week, your Christmas gift pen recommendation comes from our very own Joe.  Joe is our Production Manager here at Dayspring Pens. Whether it’s ordering stock, making sure order go out on time, or generously chuckling at all my bad puns, Joe keeps us going in all the day to day tasks that get your pens to you, beautifully engraved. Here is what Joe likes to give during the holidays.  What is your favorite Dayspring Pens item to give as a gift?  Joe: “I’m a fan of quality and functionality so the Tech Cord Organizer is certainly one of the items I would give as a gift.” GIVE THE TECH ORGANIZER TODAY What do you like about the pen?  Joe: “Well those things principally: quality functionality. Working here we sell pens, that’s our thing. But it's a change of pace. And it engraves really well.” Sam: “As the Production Manager, that makes sense.” Joe: “Yeah!” Why would you give it and to whom?  Joe: “Family and friends. Giving a pen can sometimes be very personal to their style so the Tech Organizer checks a lot of boxes. It’s just very functional. As far as gifts are concerned, the essence of it is that they can do what they want with it. I also like to know that they can get some good use out of it. It’s multi-functional. You don’t have to use it to organize your cords. You can use it as you need for travel and storage.” What is your favorite holiday tradition? Joe: “Growing up, we had an Advent Calendar that was made by our step grandmother with an image of the nativity. Each day had a character from the nativity on it and there was a little blue star pin that would move. One, it was Christmas so everyone was excited. Who knows how it happened but moving the pin, that was THE thing to do. Being able to move the star…waking up early enough to move the star…I could probably count on my hand the number of times that I did because everybody else beat me to it every time. Man, to move the star…” Experience Joe’s Tech Organizer There are more than just pens, here at Dayspring Pens, and Joe highlighted his favorite item: the Tech Organizer as an excellent gift for the holidays, complete with the option for gift wrapping this season. Crafted from Italian leather and customized with a free line of your personal engraving, the Tech Organizer features multiple compartments to hold your cords, cables, or USB drives. Or branch out and use it to store a notebook, paperclips, pens, and highlighters.  The options are endless.  Sam Di Nardo is an author for Dayspring Pens, where she has honed her expertise in ballpoint, rollerball, gel and fountain pens since joining the team in 2018. Jamie's Holiday Pen Pick

on Nov 14 2024
Christmas season is fast approaching, and I did a little interview with some of our staff here at Dayspring Pens to find out what their favorite pen to give as a gift is this holiday season. Kicking us off is our dearly beloved Jamie.  Jamie is our Director of Customer Care. If you have ever called or emailed Dayspring Pens, you have been met by the lovely voice of Jamie…truly a delight! Here is my interview with Jamie. What is your favorite Dayspring Pens item to give as a gift?  “I really like the Alexandria Black Rollerball with that classic black gold combination.” EXPERIENCE THE ALEXANDRIA What do you like about the pen?  “It’s got a little bit more of a statement body, a full figured pen. I think it's a really nice looking pen that I wish more people would try.  It looks so clean, very crisp."  Why would you give it and to whom?  “Its something that is more cost effective too so you get a nice look for a good price. I am giving it to my friend G. because he is someone who likes nice looking things. He is starting a new job and I wanted him to feel an air of professionalism and the special touch of confidence that comes with a nice pen that is sentimental and personalized.” What is your favorite holiday tradition? “Making biscotti. It has so many sweet memories. We didn’t make it a whole lot as a kid but when we did it was really fun. Now, I do it every year” Try Jamie’s Christmas Pen! Sadly you will probably not get a chance to try Jamie’s Chocolate Espresso Biscotti, but! You can try Jamie’s Holiday pen pick the Dayspring Pens Alexandria Black Rollerball Pen.  It comes complete with a free line of standard engraving, a Dayspring Pens give box, and the option for some awesome holiday wrapping paper, making this holiday season a little easier for you.  Sam Di Nardo is an author for Dayspring Pens, where she has honed her expertise in ballpoint, rollerball, gel and fountain pens since joining the team in 2018.
